What I take off your plate.
When the books are a mess. Months or years behind, never reconciled, a balance sheet that doesn’t hold up. I reconstruct the history and get them to a defensible starting point you can file from.
When it keeps happening. Cleanup only helps once if nothing changes. Monthly bookkeeping means next year’s return is a non-event.
When it’s sales tax. Multi-jurisdiction filings, Colorado home-rule cities, marketplace facilitator issues. This is the work most bookkeepers quietly avoid and most owners get wrong.
When it’s payroll. Processed, filed, and paid on schedule.
At year-end. Trial balance, reconciled accounts, supporting schedules, and a note on anything I flagged along the way. Organized and ready for preparing the tax return.
Why you can trust me with your client.
I know what you need, because I used to hand books to someone like you. I trained at an accounting and tax firm, working alongside CPAs and Enrolled Agents on a book of about twenty small business clients. I learned what makes a tax preparer’s job harder by watching it happen.
I stay in my lane. I don’t prepare tax returns and I’m not building towards it. When a client asks whether something is deductible or whether they should elect S-Corp, my answer is “that’s a question for your CPA.” Every time. If you send me a client, they stay your client.
You’ll know what’s going on. With your client’s permission, I’ll tell you what I found and what we’re doing about it. You shouldn’t learn in March that something was wrong in June.
I’ll tell you if I’m not the right fit. Wrong software, not ready to commit, needs something I don’t do… I’d rather pass than take on work I can’t do well.
I’m certified and I take it seriously. NACPB certified bookkeeper, QuickBooks ProAdvisor, QuickBooks Payroll certified. Everything runs on QuickBooks Online.
How it works.
Send them my way with either an email introduction or just my name and a link.
I’ll talk with them, review their books, and send a written flat-fee quote. You don’t manage any of it.
And if you have a client you’re unsure about, send them anyway. I’ll review their books and tell you both what I find, before anyone commits to anything.
